We are very excited to publicly announce the release of our 2009 D-Power Foil range with the Access XC 09, all new Frenzy FYX and the Manta II 09 Chasta just back from his recent trip to NZ organized by John from www.boardercontrol.com.au for the Chasta Snowkite Camp around Wanaka and Queenstown. ACCESS XC 09

FRENZY FYX
The benchmark for D-Power foil design since 2001. Our designers have spent over a year developing the Frenzy FYX. The result is a technical masterpiece combining performance and ease of use like never before. Robbie used all he learnt from the MANTA II and mixed that into the new FYX, a slightly lower aspect kite with the same 2-speed pulley system and a ton of new technical features. The feedback from everyone that has tested it from snowkiting to freestyle buggying to MTB is the same – That it’s the ultimate all terrain D-Power foil that has incredible stability with the highest performance ever felt.
MANTA II 09
The high aspect MANTA II rapidly became the Snowkite of choice for experienced kiters last season and the ultimate backcountry tool for those in the know. Its handling and performance allows the rider to push their level further than ever before. It’s the holy grail for experienced riders.
09 CONTROL SYSTEM >> PATENT PENDING
In 2005 we introduced our “leash-less” RE-RIDE safety system which meant no more leash tangles or hassles when riding. Our design has since been copied by many brands, the biggest compliment we can think of!
Robbie, Ozone’s designer and one of the most active snowkiters in the World has had his creative energies flowing the past year! To compliment his new designs, the FRENZY FYX and the MANTA II 09 Rob re-designed his “RE-RIDE” safety system. The “Patent Pending” system is simpler and more effective whilst being easier to reload once activated.
Our new Control System with our Moulded “Megatron” Chicken-loop and Robbie’s cleaner safety system gives you the ultimate bar in one length that works for all sizes of Frenzy FYX and Manta II (54cm). Also note that all components of the new RE-RIDE Control system have been designed to be easily replaceable. If you own a Manta II 07 it works on the new bar so you can upgrade.

All the D-Power foils for 09 will also be available as a kite only option – For the customers that do not wish to buy 2 sizes with complete bar setups. This should help many kiters make the decision to buy a kite complete and have a 2nd kite size whilst saving the cost of a bar and lines. All bars this year are one size (54cm) and feature a new bar end.
Listening to all your feedback we have also designed a completely new technical mountain backpack for the Access XC and a backcountry pack for the FYX and Manta II. The new backcountry backpack has a new board carrying feature, new waist belt with pocket, large separate outer pocket for a shovel, probe and other important backcountry gear with enough room for two kites for your backcountry missions.
