The latest generation of C4 brings a fresh new look along with small refinements to each size. We have had amazing feedback from riders all around the world, so what we wanted to offer was a very similar kite, yet slightly refined for improved freestyle & wakestyle performance.

We have tuned each size individually to offer riders the same performance and feel they have come to know of the past C4 generations. We have brought the feel of the entire size range closer together, slightly slowing down the smaller sizes and speeding up the larger sizes for better freestyle riding and low end characteristics.

<img width="459" height="240"alt="" src="http://www.snowkiten.com/wp-content/themes/striking/cache/images/OzoneC4fly-459x240.jpg" />

The new C4 continues with our Variable Bridle Geometry system, offering two “feel” settings. The system is simple, takes about 20 seconds to change and doesn’t involve adding or taking away any lines. The rider shifts the middle bridle lines up or down on pigtails to change the feel of the kite.

New School Setting

The C4 ships standard on this setting, it provides a slightly heavier and direct feel compared to the Freeride setting. The kite sits back a little bit more in the wind window when un-hooking, providing a more powerful load up and pop perfect for New School freestyle & wakestyle.

Freeride Setting

The Freeride setting offers a lighter bar feel and increased de-power which is perfect for freeriding and also in the waves. To use this setting simply shift the middle bridle lines to the pigtail knot closest to the leading edge.

The new C4 also has multiple trimming options offering customized handling and bar pressure. With fast and intuitive handling and un-hooked performance, combined with massive de-power and back line re-launch, the C4 is a new definition for Freestyle and Freeride Kiteboarding.

<img width="459" height="240"alt="" src="http://www.snowkiten.com/wp-content/themes/striking/cache/images/OzoneC4jump-459x240.jpg" />

Designer Goals

The Flysurfer Unity is an extremely stable and user friendly kite designed for land kiting, snow kiting and kite boarding/surfing. It is the perfect kite for people who want to master every discipline with performance and style, whether it be on sand, grass, water or snow! This kite has a direct bar feeling, turns fast, auto-relaunches and has loads of de-power. This is the replacement for the Pulse 2 a very popular kite around the world for riders looking for a user friendly closed cell foil which still has loads of performance.

<img width="459" height="240"alt="Flysurfer Unity Ride" src="http://www.snowkiten.com/wp-content/themes/striking/cache/images/FlysurferUnityRider-459x240.jpg" />

Features

Auto relaunch at the edge of the wind window

Massive depower

Low backstall

Fast turning (greatly improved vs Pulse 2)

Very stable (almost as stable as the Viron)

Launch handle to aid launching at the edge of the wind window

New Infinity Bar 2.0 with certified quick release

Direct bar feeling and progressive steering forces

New kite and board bag

Better drifting for improved wave riding and unhooked performance

Simplified bridling

Improved durability

Bar

A bar is only as good as its quick release. Together with the Infinity 2.0 Control Bar, we introduce our new Infinity 2.0 QR. At first glance you can only imagine how brilliant this component really is. First of all, it fulfills the French safety norms to perfection, which only very few kiting quick releases do.

<img width="459" height="240"alt="" src="http://www.snowkiten.com/wp-content/themes/striking/cache/images/FlysurferInvinityBar-459x240.jpg" />

The force needed to release the QR is minimal in relation to the load. Even with 400 kilograms of load, the release force remains under ten dekanewtons (similar to kilograms). The QR design is optimized to be resistant against snow, sand, dirt and small rocks, as much as possible. But that is still not all. We focused on the smallest of details. There is no metal part at the end of the loop that can become tangled behind the harness hook. The system is intuitive and can be reset easily and quickly. In addition, we made sure that you can release dependably, even when wearing thick gloves.

Disruptive or dangerous accidental releases are practically eliminated. A heavy component? Hardly. The Infinity 2.0 QR weighs only 157 grams and offers the most compact construction of all chicken loops with a comparable range of functions.

Designed with fun in mind, the Park is the one kite that does it all – any rider, any style, any condition.
The Park’s 3-strut design and Swept Compact C outline provides a stable and responsive kite. The powerful profile and leading edge give the rider good low-end power and consistent pull over a wide wind range.

The Park utilizes just enough sweep to maximize depower and allow easy relaunch. The Swept Compact C platform remains very close to a real C-shape in order to provide the crispness and feel in the bar that you really need.

Designed with fun in mind, the Park provides the rider with the power to boost, the handling to hit the lip with style and the ability to feel good in any condition.

Design Characteristics:

Super easy handling

Effortless water relaunch

Power to boost

Superior low-end performance

What’s New: We focused on the low-end power delivery without losing any of the light, crisp feel. LE percentage and profile depth have been tuned to improve the low-end pull. We also slightly reduced the sweep in order to get the overall platform closer to a real classic C-shape. To maintain the relaunch characteristics, we slightly extended the wing tips, to keep the same leverage on the overall kite when the rider pulls on the back line.

Video:

The Result: The rider can expect earlier planing without sacrificing handling. The bar feel is crisper, which means the rider can better feel what the kite is doing and can steer it with precision. The relaunch is also improved over last year’s edition.

The Frenzy Ultralite is based from the Frenzy design but produced with lighter materials mainly to reduce weight and packing size. It is the perfect kite for backcountry riding, hiking and discovering new snowkiting spots.

The Ultralite is 25% (on average) lighter than the standard Frenzy, and the reduced packed size leaves you with more space for other important tools needed during backcountry sessions.

The top surface is made from Porcher Sport Skytex 36gm2 cloth – this cloth is lightweight and packable while still retaining a good level of durability. The bottom surface is Porcher Sport Ultralite 27gm2 – this material is just as strong, but being an ultra light-weight cloth it is not designed to be heavily abused.

The Ultralite version is more sensitive to handling on the ground and cannot take as much punishment as the standard Frenzy. It will last for hundreds of hours when properly cared for, but will not withstand endless abuse. This is really only a choice for people that know how to handle their kites in all conditions!

We recommend the Frenzy Ultralite for experienced kiters that need to save weight and volume wherever they can. In control of the right person the Ultralite really feels lighter moving through the air and launches in even the slightest breeze. We are sure you guys out there that use it for what it’s been made for will love it!

THE FRENZY DESIGN

The Frenzy incorporates new technologies from Ozone’s world leading paraglider designs, as well as an added safety option with the new Contact Snow Control System, allowing for easy 100% flag-out safety whilst retaining the brake handle landing option.

The partially closed leading edge with mesh openings gives ultimate performance, clean air intake and extra strength. A refined diagonal rib configuration helps optimize bridal line layout; this has enabled us to achieve a 28% reduction in line drag and a more direct feel.

An increased number of cells and reduced cell width allow more control of the upper and lower surfaces. More cells also help reduce the amount of billowing (ballooning) of the cells, resulting in cleaner surfaces and better overall performance.

The Frenzy incorporates the “Link” line, which connects both sides of the Speed System together to maintain the correct distance between both sides of the kite. This Link line therefore controls the tension transmitted through the kite which aids stability.

These improvements add to the performance of the kite in all aspects; faster smoother direct handling, more power produced throughout the speed range, better stability and more de-power than ever before.

The Frenzy is constructed from top quality materials and features a double pulley speed-system, utilising the latest high spec Ronstan Orbit Block Series 20 pulleys.

We still recommend that you land using the webbing brake handle to cleanly stall your kite, i.e. when taking a short break.

This new total flag out option is extremely useful when landing the kite at the top of a mountain. It allows you to completely kill the power and pack up in safety, ready to Freeride down the mountain. When attaching the new flag out line, ensure it goes under the link line.

The partially closed leading edge with mesh openings gives ultimate performance, clean air intake and extra strength. A refined diagonal rib configuration helps optimize bridal line layout; this has enabled us to achieve a 28% reduction in line drag and a more direct feel.

After the earlier snowkites by Gin, the Inuit and Eskimo, the Yeti is the latest Gin model. The designers strive for optimal stability in gusty conditions for freestylers and lighter wind conditions.

The 5th line gives the Yeti total depower when the safety is used, when relaunching there is no pressure in the power zone. The Yeti has a simple bridle system. According to Gin the flying characteristics of the Yeti are smooth and precise.

The bar pressue is enough for good feedback, but not that much that your arms get tired during long cross country trips. The Yeti has good upwind performance and strives to find a balance between comfort and performance. Gin has been into paragliding for more then 25 years, therefor you can count on high quility materials. The Yeti is durable, simple and strong. A kite you can depend on in the mountains.

The size of the bar depends on the size of the kite. The lines are extra strong to prevent damage from the board or the skis. The Yeti comes with a camelback bag for crosscountry trips (with extra straps for skis, boots or shoes) and also a pocket for you iPhone.

The YETI stays incredibly stable in any situation, for example:

Gusty winds during a hard freeride session

Unhooked and freestyle tricks

Flights at low speeds and with fully powered bar (often

encountered with beginners)

Light winds

The 5th line safety system offers the best safety possible:

Completely releases the pressure when activating the safety

Allows you to leave the kite on the ground without any traction

Simple 5th line bridle

The safety system is NF S 52-503 certified by a European test laboratory, ISO 9001:2008 (www.para-test.com)

The handling of the YETI is intuitive and smooth:

Just the right amount of bar pressure for good feedback and tirelessly kiteing for hours

Good upwind performance

Combining comfort and simplicity with performance and fun

Thanks to more than 25 years of experience in developing
wings, paragliders, speedflying wings and kites, the YET I has
the following convincing attributes:

High quality design and construction

The right choice of components and materials.

Solid and simple to use
