The Flysurfer Unity is an extremely stable and user friendly kite designed for land kiting, snow kiting and kite boarding/surfing. It is the perfect kite for people who want to master every discipline with performance and style, whether it be on sand, grass, water or snow! This kite has a direct bar feeling, turns fast, auto-relaunches and has loads of de-power. This is the replacement for the Pulse 2 a very popular kite around the world for riders looking for a user friendly closed cell foil which still has loads of performance.

Bar

A bar is only as good as its quick release. Together with the Infinity 2.0 Control Bar, we introduce our new Infinity 2.0 QR. At first glance you can only imagine how brilliant this component really is. First of all, it fulfills the French safety norms to perfection, which only very few kiting quick releases do.

The force needed to release the QR is minimal in relation to the load. Even with 400 kilograms of load, the release force remains under ten dekanewtons (similar to kilograms). The QR design is optimized to be resistant against snow, sand, dirt and small rocks, as much as possible. But that is still not all. We focused on the smallest of details. There is no metal part at the end of the loop that can become tangled behind the harness hook.The system is intuitive and can be reset easily and quickly. In addition, we made sure that you can release dependably, even when wearing thick gloves.

Disruptive or dangerous accidental releases are practically eliminated. A heavy component? Hardly. The Infinity 2.0 QR weighs only 157 grams and offers the most compact construction of all chicken loops with a comparable range of functions.

The SPEED3 continues to emerge from the pack with legendary and unrivaled lightwind performance. Bar feeling is very direct, smooth and precise like no other kite in this class. Hangtime and butter-soft landings are unparalleled. It has never been this easy to land and learn new tricks, regardless of the wind conditions. Racers will also appreciate the improved windrange and increased upwind performance.

Stability has also grown to a level previously unattainable level in this class, especially in strong, gusty winds. Thanks to the further refined Triple Depower System, the resulting windrange is simply unbelievable, with no compromise in safety.

The blowout function (flag-out safety) demanded a complete redesign, in order to cover the larger wind range. The tapered leading edge now permits excellent blowout of the SPEED3 on theFLS Safety with only 4 lines, with even better relaunch capabilities.

The SPEED3 is a completely new development, as you have come to expect from FLYSURFER. Only by starting at ground zero, we can guarantee big improvements in performance and continue to build our lead in the lightwind arena. We strictly followed the wishes and desires of our customers for improving the SPEED2:

• More agility
• More depower, more direct bar feeling
• Simpler handling & higher stability
• Low-end performance at least equal

The SPEED3 was improved according to these guidelines and customer wishes:

Turning performance is now way more agile, and the SPEED3 turns more tightly despite a bigger aspect ratio. This quality can be traced back to the intensive development work, internal structures and profile optimization. The SPEED3 has been given a completely new profile and ballooning (3D shape of the kite when it is completely inflated) thanks to new simulation techniques and software.

The Depower-Performance-Enhancer has also been implemented into the design of the SPEED3. The middle intake valve can be opened or closed in order to customize the way the kite depowers according to rider preference!

The depower of the kite is now noticeably more direct, available at a short depower travel, within arm’s reach. This was achieved by means of a shorter bridle system, ultimately contributing to better performance!

The designers introduced a 3 step depower system to increase speed. This allows the rider to set the barpressure and the turningspeed.

The design and development goals for the PSYCHO4 were crystal clear from the very beginning. The pressure was high, but the initial successes have already proven that we’ve introduced another winner to the market!

The PSYCHO4 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor and impresses as a radical freestyle kite with big safety reserves. The enhanced agility of the kite in combination with the direct feedback enables superior control – learning new tricks has just gotten easier!

The total development of the PSYCHO4 took almost two years to complete and also brings a completely new innovation in kite design. The PSYCHO4 with its revolutionary „Triple Depower“-Technology combines 3 characteristics to maximize the depower effect:

• The angle of attack changes
• The projected size of the kite changes
• The airfoil camber changes

The PSYCHO4 impresses by combining these 3 characteristics, resulting in an extremely wide „sweet-spot” where the kite creates its optimum performance. A tube kite, by comparison, only uses the change in angle of attack in order to achieve it’s depower effect.

The range of use has significantly increased from its predecessor, worth mentioning is that through the „Triple Depower“-Technology it was possible to keep the kite direct and fast turning when depowered. Already leading us to another key design point and the next milestone in the PSYCHO4 design – turning speed and radius.

The PSYCHO4 is by far the narrowest and fastest turning kite that we have built to date! This kite is predestined for radical Free- and Wakestyle. The PSYCHO4 can master any kind of kiteloop with ease. The rider sets the extremity and limits. Unhooked performance has also been improved, so load it up for extreme pop!
